Metro Power is looking for Electrical Service Technicians to install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems & associated equipment while adhering to the National Electric Code (NEC) and equipment specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, cable testers, thermal scanners, and ammeters, Service Technicians are required to safely and effectively identify electrical problems and recommend repairs.
- The person in this role must be able to interpret blueprints and schematics, possess a solutions-based mindset, and exhibit professionalism during interactions with business owners & operators.
- Additional duties include documenting interactions with clients, working with colleagues in a team environment, and any other tasks necessary to build and grow the department.
- All business interactions must be conducted in accordance with MetroPower’s mission, vision, and values.

Requirements:
- Current Driver's License and reliable transportation - Required
- High school graduate, General Education Development (GED) or equivalent education - Required
- Minimum 3-5 years of previous electrical experience - Required
- Georgia Electrical Contractors License - Preferred
- Completion of electrical apprenticeship – Preferred
- Must have a desire to work in a team-based environment and contribute immediately.
- Positive and safety conscious attitude with personal integrity - both are non-negotiable.
