Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Management: Perform processing, disinfection, and maintenance of endoscopes and other surgical equipment.
- Procedure Support: Assist physicians during GI endoscopy procedures.
- Sterilization & Infection Control: Execute high-level disinfection of reusable medical equipment, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols.
- Supply & Inventory: Manage and track supplies, ensuring adequate inventory for procedures.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct daily quality control checks on equipment and maintain accurate documentation of all processes.
- Patient Care: Assist registered nurses with patient admission, recovery, and discharge processes.
