Job Description

As a Construction Superintendent, you'll lead teams in constructing concrete structures from footings to finishes while actively participating in hands-on construction work. You'll manage projects, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and coordinate with stakeholders. Your role is critical in meeting project deadlines and maintaining high work quality, working side by side with the crew through demanding day and night schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage concrete construction teams, actively participating in hands-on tasks.
• Perform physical labor, including lifting up to 80 pounds, as part of daily duties.
• Oversee project planning, execution, and completion.
• Ensure all work meets ADA, OSHA, and MSHA standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
• Manage schedules, materials, and equipment usage.
• Adapt to aggressive day-to-night work transitions as needed.

Requirements

• Experience: 3 to 5 years in concrete construction, with experience in a supervisory role.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds and perform hands-on construction tasks alongside the crew.
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and technical skills (blueprint reading, setting elevations, layout, concrete forms, concrete finishing, heavy equipment, etc.).
• Qualifications: Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, ability to pass drug test and physical.
• Adaptability: Willing to work nights, in various weather conditions, and manage aggressive day-to-night transitions.
• Language: Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.
